Cath is a user researcher and product strategist. She helps teams deliver specific projects and set up their own embedded research practices. Last year she worked on GOV.UK at the UK’s Government Digital Service. Prior to that she worked at Made by Many, a product and service design company.
Government isn’t typically known for leading the way in service design. But in the last few years, the UK’s Government Digital Service has gained worldwide respect and inspired governments from America to Estonia. How did this happen? By changing the DNA of an organisation to put user needs at its heart. From design principles to exposure hours, Cath will show how user-centred design and research is transforming the way government delivers public services.
